Riley is ONE!!!

Today was Riley's FIRST Birthday! "Yaay!" says she. Hard to believe my little Roo is already a year old! Hugging her brother. Canon and Riley love to play this blanket game in the morning. Riley goes in to snuggle his blanket and then he'll get up and pull her around on it. They both think it's hilarious. And so do I!

Later that day, Grandma Mema came over to drop off some super fun Birthday balloons, cupcakes, and gifts! Including this crown and some party blowers.

After dinner, we got to Skype Gama and Papa for some candle/cupcake fun.

Notice how Riley isn't looking at her candle (she's watching Grama and Papa on the computer sing Happy Birthday to her). :o)

Yaay! Canon helped blow out the candle. He's been a BIG helper for all this Birthday business. :o)

She wasn't sure at first, but finally got the idea. Just smash it in there! Haha! She only took a couple bites but managed to make a wonderful mess. That's all that counts afterall.

And that concludes my little girl's special day (technically, that is). Her party is on Saturday -- more birthday fun to come!
