The Denver Children's Museum, May 2011
We went to the Children's Museum with the Knutson girls, Christine and Becca. What an enjoyable day! Here are Riley and Becca walking up to the Museum.
As soon as we got in, we all took an immediate pit stop. Riley is learning toilet training from her brother. Awesome.
They had a full size fire engine and firemen when we first entered!
Canon and Christine help manage the water hose.

Down to the storybook imagination floor.
Riley picks veggies from the garden...
...weighs them...
...and cooks them.
Up we go to the dance room! Canon trys on tap shoes but freezes like a dog in a costume.
Riley, however, has no problem making the most of her dance time.
Over to the grocery store. Canon and Christine begin their grocery shopping.
Canon stocks up!
And Christine dubs herself the teller and checks him out.
I think he bought just about the whole store.
On to the science bubble lab.
Canon waits patiently for a bubble to fall from the ceiling.
He LOVED this station. The tube blew steam air so that he could make an array of bubbles on the table or make them come out of the tube. They also had beakers and funnels to experiment with. Canon is such an engineer, I had to tear him away from this room to move to the next!
When she wasn't taste-testing the bubbles, Riley made a pretty good scientist too!
Art time!
After a picnic lunch, we burned some more energy outside at the playground before heading home. This tire swing was a fast favorite.
