Cottage fun in Michigan

After the Mac Race, Mom, Dad, Luke, Tyrion, Justin, Canon and I drove down to a little Lake in Michigan for a little R&R. We had a great time fishing, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing, swimming, bonfiring, playing, etc.

Canon LOVED being able to "swim" naked.
Luke bought Tyrion his very first fishing pole (and a Spiderman one to boot). Tyrion couldn't get enough fishing, someone even bought him live worms for bait!

Tyr caught hundreds of Blue Gill. And when I say hundreds I'm not exaggerating.
He had become a pro by the end of the trip!
He fished and fished and fished until there was no more light to fish by! Hmmm, sounds eerily like my husband...Mom and Dad were keeping the Bonfire warm until we were ready to start our S'mores.Note to self: Marshmallow roasting takes patience. Learn patience.I think this is a pretty pink plate. Do you think this is a pretty pink plate? Grandpa read lots of stories to both his grandsons in the cottage before bed (and so did Grandma) After our family cottage trip, Justin and I drove down to Kalamazoo to spend the weekend with our friends Emily and Michelle! This is us on the awesome pontoon boat.

Justin showed off his waterskiing skills. And his massive quads. Canon decided beer bottles are really fun to look at and really fun to suck on (when empty).

Canon is just adorable!! And some great artistic pictures too, especially the first vacation one with mom & tot surrounded by blue water, and the no-more-light fishing one with the three silhouetted.
