Miller's Farm

On Sunday, we took the kids and "cousin T" to Miller's Farm in Longmont, CO. I had them wear jeans and boots since I thought we were going to go out into the fields and dig out some crops. Turns out we found much more interesting things to do than collect vegetables! So, alas, on this 100 degree day I overdressed all the kids and returned home sans veggies. But still made for a wonderful day!
There were lots of cars and tractors (and planes!) there for the kids to sit in and pretend to drive. They even had Mater!

The had two tubs of gardner snakes and toads for the kids to pick up and pet. Is this a boys paradise or what!
Tractor train.
Tanner loved the train! He sat in the first car right behind the tractor which he thought was really cool until the tractor started and he got a face full of exhaust. Ick! :o(
Canon, looking not-so-sure about this ride from the very start, ending up screaming when it started and Justin had to chase down the train to rescue him.
Bounce Land! There were a couple times when Tanner and Canon had this awesome blob to themselves. Which was good for Canon because he semi-freaked out when other kids bounced around him and knocked him off balance. Still doesn't like to fall down apparantly. :o)

Tanner and Uncle Justin (and Riley) climbed this huge hay mountain. Canon and I observed from the bottom.
Geronimo!!!

Corn maze. We actually DID get lost in here.

Caterpillar.
Corn.
We're now officially lost and EVERYONE'S feeling a little toasty.
Our two farm boys just taking a break in the shade.
After escaping the treacherous corn maze, Riley finally gets some foot action.
Lunch!
Riley did most of her "farming" from the Kelty.
Tractor dune buggies!
And at the very end of the day, we all bought pumpkins to take home with us. A nice fall end to a fun fall day!
