Rodeo in the Ranch!

We spent this morning at the Rodeo in Highlands Ranch, it was SUPER hot but very fun. We got there right as the fairgrounds opened, just in time to watch the mutton busting prelimenaries. Can't wait for Canon to participate next year!

Canon and Riley's little friend Taylor joined us for the morning with her dad, Todd.

Time for pony rides!

Riley had a grin ear to ear the entire way. She LOVED these horses and cried when she had to get off. Like daughter like mother. :o)

Time for the rabbit scramble!

Riley wasn't quite sure what to do, but she caught on pretty quick and running with the crowd. Unfortunately, the rabbits were caught within three seconds and the scramble ended. Oh well, still fun to get out there and run for a bit!

One last pony ride before heading home! This horse was the biggest one there, his name was Applejack.
